Verizon iPhone announced

A few years’ worth of rumors and speculation have finally come true: Verizon has announced that its subscribers will be able to get the iPhone starting next month.

The iPhone 4 for Verizon will be available February 10, Consumerist reports. The announcement was made today at a press conference in New York City.

Verizon’s iPhone will have the same features as AT&T’s version and run on the company’s CDMA network. It will run $199.99 for a 16gb model, and $299.99 for 32gb.

Current Verizon customers are eligible to receive the popular smartphone before they’re available to everyone else, according to Verizon’s website.
